Track 1: Prentice, the Prelude

Here it is, guys – Wes and I have talked, and we’ve decided that this shall be our first track for the album, which we have decided shall be our attempt at a new genre: Operatic Fusion. It is entitled “Prentice, the Prelude.”

I am tremendously proud of how this has turned out, so please enjoy the fruits of our efforts, and don’t hesitate to share with your friends if it moves you. Lyrics are in the description so that you may miss nothing in the process of storytelling. Thank you for listening!

  1. Jon – so excited for you
    yes you have been missed
when you get your recording going contact me would love to do an interview about your process and stuff. Just interviewed a Ukrainian today http://onestoppoetry.com/2011/05/one-stop-poetry-looks-at-the-arts-featuring-musician-yegor-lanovenko.html

    hugs from the Moon

    • Thank you for that, Mrs. Moon!

I appreciate that offer, and I shall do just that once I feel we have at least a good portion of the album done. It shouldn’t be terribly long…we’ve been pumping songs out pretty rapidly, all things considered. It will just be a bit because I want to make sure I not only get this right, but learn well in the process.

  2. Welcome back. I have to say, this is not what I’m used to, but captivating none the less. Congratulations and best of luck in this endeavor.

    • Thank you, Hime. It’s probably not going to be what most people are used to, and it’s definitely not going to be any one genre. I actually hope to successfully mix a few genres in order not only to broaden the horizons of my listeners, but also to challenge myself beyond a set formula.

      I appreciate the well-wishes!
